Can STUCC be used in combination with a Firewall?

Yes, STUCC can be used in conjunction with a firewall.

Please make sure that all IP addresses behind the following domains are accessible via TCP port 443:

• *.dialfire.com
• *.24dial.com
• *.voip.24dial.com

We also recommend opening port 443 UDP for these domains, as this allows the use of the faster QUIC protocol.

For telephony (voice streams), UDP ports 16384 to 32768 must be opened for symmetrical data traffic to all IP addresses under the following domain:

• *.voip.24dial.com 

If your firewall is not yet cloud-enabled, i.e. does not support wildcard FQDN for filtering on layer 3, for most firewalls it is possible to enable this functionality with a DNS-based firewall proxy.
